The left rear brake light and turn signal is out on my 2001?
ford explorer sport.I changed the bulbs and checked the fuse, that was fine but they still dont work. What else could it be.The socket?and if so how hard are those to change. The left rear brake light and turn signal is out on my 2001?possibly the wiring on that specific tail light shorted out, should get it looked at!The left rear brake light and turn signal is out on my 2001?Just buy a bulb and replace it.The left rear brake light and turn signal is out on my 2001?Yes it could be the connecting socket, or it could be the circuit board the lamps fit in to.The left rear brake light and turn signal is out on my 2001?That circuit also runs through your turn signal switch, which means the turn signal switch (not the lever) could be shorted out.The left rear brake light and turn signal is out on my 2001?SOUNDS like a bad socket... does the l/f light up ?
I had asked how to change a rear turn signal light in the back of a Chevy S 10..?
now I want to know how to remove the lens that covers the light bulb?I had asked how to change a rear turn signal light in the back of a Chevy S 10..?Let the tailgate down. Where the tailgate latched there is one screw and about 4%26quot; below that will be a second screw. Remove those 2 screws and the tail light can be removed.
Hope this helpsI had asked how to change a rear turn signal light in the back of a Chevy S 10..?In the bed of the truck, right in front of the tail light assembly, you will see some small holes. They are about 1 inch in diameter. If you look inside the holes you will see some bolts sticking out with 10 mm nuts. Take the nuts off and the tail light assembly will come off, then you can change the bulbs.I had asked how to change a rear turn signal light in the back of a Chevy S 10..?This depends on what year the S10 is. Older models use four T10 torx screws that go in each corner of the lens assembly.
Newer models are accessible after lowering the tailgate. Remove the two 10mm bolts and rotate the taillight assembly out by moving the bolted end out first and releasing it from the outer body clip.
Re assembly is the opposite of removal. Hope this helps. Christopher

How do you change a rear turn signal on a 95 neon?
i cant find any way to take the old bulb outHow do you change a rear turn signal on a 95 neon?My wife used to have a Neon. It's been a while, but IIRC, there are carpet panels in the trunk that are 'velcro'd' to the rear corners. You should be able to see a handle where you can pull them off. Once you've done that, you should see the back of the tail light assembly where you can remove the bulb holder for replacement.
How do I change out the multifunction swith for my turn signal?
I was told it was my multi function switch, but they wanted to charge $300 to fix.
I want to do it myself but I do not have a chiltons. My car is a 1998 Dodge Avenger. It does not have tilt steering . I changed the fuses so I know it's not that and both bulbs work. The left light blinks like a flasher non stop the right works fine. Any ideas on what needs to be done??How do I change out the multifunction swith for my turn signal?according to all data you have to remove the stering wheel, air bag and clockspring just to get to it. You better take it ta a mechanic because its not worth messing with the airbag components if you dont know what for sure you are doing

Replacing tail/brake/turn signal/backup lamp bulbs
The tail/brake/turn signal and backup lamp bulbs are located in the tail
lamp assembly. Follow the same steps to replace either bulb.
1. Make sure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position and open the
trunk.
2. Lift out trunk floor carpeting panel to access a Luggage Scuff Plate
(Hard Molding) shingles and a Trunk Side Panel (dark grey, soft
wheelhouse side trim panel) at the lamp area.
3. Carefully pull/push the Trunk Side Panel (dark grey, soft wheelhouse
side trim panel) outboard to expose the lamp assembly. The most
effective point to grasp the Trunk Side Panel when pulling it out from
the Luggage Scuff Plate is at it檚 bottom edge where that edge meets the
exposed sheet metal of the trunk floor.
Note: Do not allow the Trunk Side Panel to remain bent and untucked
from the Luggage Scuff Plate (hard molding) for a long period of time.
Doing so may result in permanent deformation.
4. Remove the bulb socket by
turning it counterclockwise and
pulling it straight out.
5. Pull the bulb from the socket and
push in the new bulb.
6. Install the bulb socket into the
lamp assembly by rotating it
clockwise.
7. Carefully push the Trunk Side
Panel (dark grey, soft wheelhouse
side trim panel) back to the shingle position to the Luggage Scuff Plate
(hard molding).
8. Install trunk floor carpeting panel.

How to change the rear right turn signal in a 2006 ford fusion.I think on the fusion you need to remove the rear light lens to be able to get at the bulbs.99 civic turn signal indicator how do i change it to blue?
have seen pictures of cars just like mine have the interior turn signal indicator blue instead of what every car has...green. How do I modify that or what bulb do I need for civic?
99 civic turn signal indicator how do i change it to blue?Remove the gauge cluster assembly. Find the appropriate bulb. Remove the bulb. There is a plastic boot that goes over the bulb. It is not likely you can find a boot alone to replace. ( the bulb is VERY small ). I suggest going to the dealership and asking them for a blue equivalent bulb. Most dealerships will have the bulb you are looking for. They actually use blue bulbs elsewhere in some Honda's.
