How do I change a turn signal?

This is on a 2006 ford focus Hatchback. I cant do it like on ordinary vehicles where the bulb is accessible through the trunk. The whole thing is built on the body with one screw holding it but the trick is removing it. I dont want to pull too hard and break the whole damn thing.
